Canine unit to help conservation efforts

KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah Forestry Department is the first in the country to set up a canine unit to curb illegal activities.

Its director Datuk Sam Mannan said the canine unit together with the newly established group of armed personnel reflected its seriousness in cracking down against forestry crime.
