RANAU: A “shy” Sabah Parks ranger is finally getting some recognition as among those instrumental in the rescue about 170 climbers on Mount Kinabalu following the June 5 earthquake.
State Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Masidi Manjun, said apart from the mountain guides there were many other unsung heroes who were in the thick of the rescue operations.
