A trio of Terra Nova watches in bronze from British brand, Bremont.
Bremont is, first and foremost, a manufacturer of robust and rugged tool watches.
That’s why incorporating a particular material always and only happens if it makes functional sense.
In line with the brand’s commitment to ultimate durability and exceptional quality, Bremont has utilised a new bronze alloy for its Terra Nova collection.
The British brand’s Terra Nova field watch collection references and is inspired by military pocket watches of the early 20th century.
Styled and meticulously crafted, the Terra Nova collection includes all the hallmarks of the original timepieces, capturing their rugged elegance, practicality, simplicity and essential functionality, reinterpreted for the 21st century.
For 2025, three new references come in bronze, a high-strength Cupro-aluminium alloy that is selected for its strength, durability and versatility.
More durable and resistant
Cupro-aluminium is a highly qualitative bronze alloy and can be easily cast and shaped into intricate designs, crucial for creating the high-quality Terra Nova two-piece watch case with its sophisticated and detailed design.
The alloy also has a higher tensile strength than other types of bronze due to the strengthening effects of its aluminium and silicon composition.
This makes the material more durable and able to withstand the wear and tear of being worn in various environments.
Cupro-aluminium is hypoallergenic and more resistant to scratches than traditional bronze, and maintains its appearance over time.
It is slightly lighter than conventional steel and bronze, while aesthetically, it offers a unique visual appeal with its soft golden tone and warm reddish hue.
Unlike traditional bronze, it develops a gradual and even patina, avoiding the uneven green or black discolouration, thus resulting in a subtle, controlled transformation over time.
The unique properties of the bronze alloy transforms each of the three new Terra Nova Bronze iterations into highly personal timepieces, as each individual watch will age differently.
The high-tech bronze alloy will subtly age within three months, resulting in an appearance of subtly distressed look and feel.
The Terra Nova 40.5mm Date Bronze and Terra Nova 42.5mm Chronograph Bronze feature a dark green linear gradient dial, while the Terra Nova 40.5mm Turning Bezel Power Reserve Bronze features a warm caramel linear gradient dial reminiscent of a seemingly endless desert.
The three newcomers also display subtle design changes: the dial presents a smaller Wayfinder logo, while the chronograph and the power reserve models with their turning bezel have smaller full Super-LumiNova block numerals on the dial, creating a more balanced appearance without sacrificing readability.
All three new Terra Nova Bronze tool watches embody practicality, durability and a passion for exploration.

The selection comprise a refined bronze alloy three-link bracelet featuring a quick-release and practical butterfly clasp; a green nubuck leather strap with a cream box stitch featuring a PVD bronze-coloured stainless steel pin buckle; and a black-and-green NATO-style strap crafted on traditional French looms from the 1800s with a PVD bronze-coloured stainless steel loop.
