Vivy Yusof, founder and group creative director of FashionValet, has been honoured internationally for playing a role in fashion. She was recently inducted in The Business of Fashion (BoF) 500, a definitive professional index of people shaping the global fashion industry.

Other big names on the list comprised top fashion designers and personalities.

"Is this even real?! Not only am I on the list this year, (BoF) also selected me as one of the EIGHT cover stories alongside Giorgio Armani, Jacquemus, Deepika and Emma Grede!" Vivy wrote, breaking the news on her Instagram account.

She also shared her experience attending the gala dinner in Paris.

According to Vivy, she wore a power suit designed by Malaysian designer Rizman Ruzaini. She paired it with a scarf and bag by Duck, one of the brands under her company.

Her postings also showed her interacting with French designer Simon Porte Jacquemus and Indian actress Deepika Padukone.

BoF, regarded as a resource for fashion creatives, executives and entrepreneurs all over the world, described Vivy as "an influencer turned modest fashion mogul", who has "billion-dollar ambitions in a market as diverse and complex as the Muslim world".

She founded ecommerce platform FashionValet, as well as in-house brands Duck and Lilit.

Duck sells scarves and other accessories, while Lilit focuses on modestwear. The FashionValet ecommerce site announced its closure in July this year, but the parent company remains operational.
