The 57th Golden Horse Awards, which took place in Taipei, Taiwan, on Saturday (Nov 21), offered outstandingly glamorous red carpet fashion. Not surprising, as the event is dubbed the "Chinese Oscars".

In attendance were recognisable faces within the filmmaking industry of the region. And on the red carpet, it was one sleek outfit after the other.
From suited gents to ladies in their best gowns, they shone during the night in their own way.

Malaysian film actress Sinje Lee wore a beautiful floral design by Dolce & Gabbana for her red carpet arrival. She accessorised the demurely pretty look with jewellery from Boucheron.

Chinese-American actress Bai Ling went for outward extravagance, with a dress sporting an incredibly high high slit. It also had a train with the words “Love” and “Peace”.
