 Abuse, whether it happens to someone we know or not, is a community issue. As a society, we must stand up to violence at all cost. It isn’t always appropriate or safe to intervene by confronting the perpetrator, but you can report suspected abuse and seek help.  Here are some numbers to have on speed dial.
