How to deal with frustration and anxiety


Before arriving in Malaysia, I was helping a friend deal with her feelings of frustration, irritation and anxiety – the kinds of emotions that can arise often in those with highly demanding roles.

She had tried a number of remedies to no avail. Massage would relieve her stress only for a short time before it returned, and she found it impossible to switch off whenever she attempted to unplug and take time out to read a book or go for a walk. There seemed to be “no way of getting rid of these emotions,” as she put it.
