DR YUNUS Gul Alif Gul, a general surgeon, treated mostly Caucasian colorectal cancer patients in England and Ireland for nine years. The patients were usually over the age of 50.
However, after practising in Malaysia for three years, Dr Yunus Gul, who is now deputy dean (Academic and Clinical) and Head of General Surgical Unit, Universiti Putra Malaysia, has noticed that there are many younger cases.
