Government watchdogs are crying foul over the extravagant spending by the American healthcare system on erectile dysfunction pumps, wasting taxpayers’ money to the tune of RM575 million.
Penis pumps cost the US government’s Medicare program US$172mil (RM575mil) between 2006 and 2011, about twice as much as the consumer would have paid at the retail level, according to a government watchdog’s report.
