Birthday parties are always fun because we get to enjoy our special day with loved ones. Not only do we get a birthday cake, we also receive gifts and have fun playing games with friends.

One of the best parts about having a birthday party must surely be picking out your own birthday cake!

Since it’s your special day, you can ask for the most elaborate birthday cake of your choice: a Disney-themed cake or a superhero cake, for example. Here’s what Starchild readers had to say on the topic, My Birthday.

Viknarubessh Nagaraja, seven

“My birthday is in June. I love cartoon character cakes. This year, I had a Spiderman-themed cake. My dad bought the cake from a nearby bakery, ” says Viknarubessh Nagaraja, seven.

Twelve-year-old Janani Nair loves to have birthday parties because she gets to invite her friends over. “For my birthday this year, my mother ordered a caramel chocolate cake with chocolate chip drizzle. It was so sweet and simply delicious. We enjoyed the cake.”
