Hong Kong actor Bosco Wong recently attended a health event, where he shared insights into his journey toward a toned physique.
The 45-year-old expressed confidence in his current form, describing it as decent.
However, if he were asked to achieve the more muscular build of fellow actor Louis Cheung in the 2025 film Golden Boy, he would need to see whether the pay checque was worth the effort.

During the event, Wong also shared some anecdotes about his mother, revealing that she’s a huge foodie who struggles with controlling her diet.
“Her health issues are serious, but she doesn’t want to consult a doctor, believing in home remedies instead.
“But even if the remedies work, it won’t do much if she can’t control her eating. She eats too much, and it drives me crazy,” he joked.
Last month, Wong – along with renowned actress Charmaine Sheh – made headlines after receiving a photo opportunity with acclaimed movie star Chow Yun Fat at a Chinese New Year dinner party.
Wong said Chow, 70, shared insights about acting, diet and health during their conversation.
“He’s really someone to learn from. He pays attention to what we’ve been up to and is super approachable,” he said.
When asked if he would encourage his mother to run alongside Chow, who’s a known jogging enthusiast, the actor gave a playful answer.
“If my mum is willing, that’s great. But I’m worried she’ll bring a whole group of friends, and it will turn into a fan chase instead of running,” he laughed.
For the record, Wong shares a close bond with his mother, who raised him as a single parent.
In a 2023 interview with Hong Kong media, he shared that growing up in a single-parent household played a pivotal role in shaping the person he is today.
