Selena Gomez has ignited mixed reactions from her supporters after she was captured kissing and snuggling her husband Benny Blanco‘s foot after the latter became a topic online for his “hygiene.”

Gomez appeared in the latest episode of Friends Keep Secrets, hosted by Blanco, Lil Dicky and Kristin Batalucco. One hour into the episode, the pop star was seen sitting on the floor, giving a kiss to Blanco’s index toe mid-conversation.

Blanco paused, smiled and asked his wife, “You like that?” The singer playfully slapped his leg and said, “Oh, don’t make it a moment!”

Blanco replied, “No, I wasn’t. I liked it. It made me feel good. I love you so much.”

Gomez then settled her head on her husband’s toes. saying “I love you” back.

The moment came after Blanco became a topic of online conversation after he displayed his dirty feet during the first episode of his podcast. He also purposefully farted during the episode.

Gomez’s gesture toward her husband further drew mixed reactions from fans. Some Filipino netizens joked that the pop singer needed to be showered with salt as she seemed to be under a spell.

“Sabuyan niyo nga ng asin ‘to si teh. Jusko naman,” wrote one Filipino fan in Tagalog on X, gathering almost 4,000 likes. (Roughly tranlates to: "Someone sprinkle some salt on this girl, please. Oh my God.")

“If she truly doesn’t mind kissing and snuggling those dirty feet, then I’m sorry that just tells me they’re operating on the same level of disgusting filth. If it doesn’t repulse her, then maybe it reflects her standards too. Filthy lovers. Equally yoked by filth,” weighed in a fan.

In September 2025, Gomez and Blanco tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Santa Barbara, California, after two years of dating. – Philippine Daily Inquirer/Asia News Network
