After months of speculation, Hong Kong singer Charlene Choi of the Cantopop duo Twins has officially confirmed her romance with fitness coach Elvis Lam.

Choi, who was born in Canada, broke the news during a fan event at a tea store in Tsim Sha Tsui on Tuesday (Jan 13), which saw nearly 1,000 fans.

"You can omit the word 'rumour' now," the 43-year-old star said.

Choi shared that Lam, who's 10 years her junior, inspired her to adopt a healthier lifestyle.

In fact, she has been hiking and exercising more frequently these days.

When asked if they both exercise together on a regular basis, the singer playfully replied: "Hey, one question a day is fine! I'm really happy. That's all I'll say."

Rumours between Choi and Lam surfaced in August 2025 when fans spotted them together at singer-songwriter Terence Lam's concert in Hong Kong.

The speculation heated up in November when she teased her relationship status in an interview with Hong Kong media.

Choi was previously married to singer-actor Ronald Cheng between 2006 and 2010.

She later dated billionaire "Mahjong Prince" Anthony Shek in 2017, but the pair broke up in 2023 after failing to reach a consensus on marriage.
