South Korean group BTS is set to light up the stage like dynamite with two shows in Kuala Lumpur on Dec 12 and 13.

The shows will mark the septet’s first appearance in Malaysia since 2015, when it brought its Red Bullet Tour to Mega Star Arena.

The KL dates are part of the group’s highly anticipated world tour, following a three-year hiatus from group activities as all seven members enlisted for their mandatory military service.

The extensive tour – comprising 79 shows across Asia, the United States and Europe – will kick off in Goyang, South Korea on April 9.

It is expected to run until 2027, with additional stops planned for Japan and the Middle East.

Adding to the excitement, BTS is also set to make its long-awaited comeback with a full-length album on March 20.

The songs are widely expected to form the backbone of the tour’s theme and setlists.

Malaysian fans have since taken to social media to express excitement over the group's return, while others urged the organiser to prioritise local fans and take measures to curb scalping.

“I can’t believe BTS are finally coming to Malaysia. It has been so long,” one fan commented.

Another added: “I hope the organiser takes active steps to prioritise Malaysian fans as this will be our first concert since 2015.”

Details for the KL concerts have yet to be announced. Fans are advised to stay tuned for updates via 2026bts.com.
