Erra Fazira, Ezwan Zain tie the knot

SHAH ALAM: Popular actress, singer and television host Erra Fazira has tied the knot with Ezwan Zain, fondly known as “Mr E”, at 9.19am on Friday (Dec 12), in a solemnisation ceremony held at Rinjani Majestic, Kampung Melayu Subang, near here.

After nearly 11 years as a single mother, Erra, 51, has now found a partner in businessman Ezwan, 44, to share the next chapter of her life.

The solemnisation ceremony was conducted by the Assistant Registrar of Marriages of the Selangor Islamic Religious Council, Mohd Sabirin Noordin.

As her dowry, Erra received a symbolic 102-gramme “ufti bunga emas” (golden flower tribute), along with a jewellery set, handbag, watch and shoes.

The 'bersanding' ceremony for family members will be held tomorrow, while a reception for friends and acquaintances is scheduled for Dec 27.

This is Erra's third marriage.

Her earlier marriage to actor and KRU member Datuk Yusry Abdul Halim ended in divorce in 2006. She later married businessman Engku Emran, and the couple was blessed with a daughter, Engku Aleesya, before their divorce in 2014. – Bernama
