Hong Kong actor Bosco Wong has sparked concern among fans after a video showing him looking noticeably thinner went viral online.

A netizen on Chinese social media platform Xiaohongshu shared that they recently crossed paths with the 44-year-old artiste outside a hotel in Causeway Bay.

The post included a clip of Wong rehearsing his lines for his upcoming drama, Behind The Queens, slated for release next year.

Dressed in an olive green button-up and black slacks, Wong looked stylish as ever, but many fans couldn’t help noticing his sunken cheeks and much thinner appearance.

“He looks thinner than usual. I hope he isn’t pushing himself too hard,” one netizen commented.

Another added: “He has been working so hard lately and lost so much weight.”

When asked by Hong Kong news portal HK01 about his noticeably thinner appearance, Wong confirmed that his weight loss was due to his demanding schedule.

“I’m filming Behind The Queens, promoting The Queen Of News Season 2 and will soon begin shooting another project in Malaysia.

“Sometimes, I’m so busy that I don’t even have time to eat. Since filming starts early the next morning, I often just go to bed (instead of eating) because I’m so exhausted,” he said.

However, Wong reassured fans that he’s doing perfectly fine, humorously adding: “Whenever I lose weight, my face gets thinner first. I don’t know if that’s a win or a loss.”
