Hong Kong singer-actor William So, who's married to Anita Fung, was recently accused of having an affair.

On Tuesday (Nov 11), a Hong Kong weekly magazine published photos of the 58-year-old getting chummy with a woman in her early 20s on the beach.

The report alleged that he had been engaging in a secret relationship behind Fung's back.

Sin Chew Daily noted that while So's hair in the images looked noticeably different from his current style, the suit he wore matched the one he donned during his performance at the Miss Chinese Cosmos Pageant in 2014.

To quash the cheating rumours, Fung, who married So in 2014, clarified that the photos were actually of both of them taken 11 years ago.

She also made it clear that their relationship remains as strong as ever.

"Our reporter friends are amazing. They dug up relics from before our marriage," Fung wrote in her Instagram Story.

Following her clarification, the weekly magazine quickly removed the report, and Fung has since made her Instagram account private.

For the record, So and Fung share an eight-year-old son.

The Cantopop star was previously married to a woman named Jane Foong from 1999 to 2003.
