Hong Kong actress Charmaine Sheh has been keeping busy with the filming of the second season of the hit series The Queen Of News.
The 50-year-old star is reprising her role as the ambitious news anchor Sister Man.
For her performance in the first season, Sheh took home the Best Actress award at the 2024 TVB Awards.
While the airdate for Season 2 has yet to be confirmed – though one report hints at a year-end premiere – it’s known that filming took place in both China and Hong Kong.
With her popularity soaring after the success of The Queen Of News (2023), the actress was clearly due for a well-deserved break. She filmed two other series back to back between the first and second season of The Queen Of News, namely The Heir To The Throne and Themis.
And she’s taking it.
From her recent Instagram updates, it appears Sheh travelled overseas to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, attend a friend’s birthday and simply recharge.
Sheh shared photos of herself with her firends, and the food they enjoyed during the trip.
Although she didn’t specify her location, many netizens recognised the background as Vancouver.
What stood out most to fans, however, was her fresh, makeup-free look – radiating confidence and natural beauty even while off duty.
