Malaysian actress Koe Yeet delighted fans in December last year when she announced her engagement to her non-celebrity partner.

At the time, the 33-year-old shared photos of the romantic proposal on social media but kept her fiance’s identity under wraps.

In August, she offered fans another glimpse into her wedding journey, posting pictures of the betrothal gifts she received as part of the Chinese pre-wedding customs.

On Sept 27, the actress finally celebrated her big day with a lavish wedding reception at a five-star hotel, graced by the presence of many high-profile figures.

Among the guests include Selangor princess Tengku Zatashah Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, as well as actors Steve Yap, Debbie Goh, Aenie Wong, Angela Chan and more.

Although Koe has yet to share official photos from the banquet, many guests posted their own snapshots online.

The uploads unveiled the identity of Koe’s husband for the first time, with netizens quick to gush over his tall and refined appearance, calling him the perfect match for the actress.

Another clip captured the newlyweds entering the banquet hall hand in hand, warmly waving  to their guests.

Earlier in January, Koe told StarLifestyle that she felt both excited and nervous about the changes marriage would bring.

The actress – known for her performance in the 2020 drama Titoudao: Inspired By The True Story Of A Wayang Star and its second season Titoudao: Dawn Of A New Stage (2023) – shared that while she plans to start a family one day, she’s letting nature take its course.

“I don’t think I can ever prepare for the changes, but I can grow to embrace it by taking everything one step at a time,” she said then.
