Canadian actress Christy Chung recently marked her 55th birthday with a fun and intimate pyjama party, surrounded by family and close friends.

On Sept 20, the Love On Delivery (1994) star shared on Weibo photos from the celebration – including one of her in pink pyjamas cutting a birthday cake and two showing her striking poses in a fitted black dress.

The photo dump also featured a rare family shot of Chung with her two daughters – Jaden, 17, and Cayla, 15 – and her husband, Chinese actor Shawn Zhang, whom she married in 2016.

“I feel so blessed! Age has always been just a number. What matters is loving life and loving yourself. I hope (my daughters) will also shine brightly, live their most brilliant lives and always stay curious and passionate about the world,” she wrote in the caption.

According to Hong Kong news portal Dimsum Daily, a video from the birthday party captured tender moments between Chung and Zhang as they held hands and shared a kiss. Her daughters also surprised her with flowers, a cake and a handbag.

For the record, Chung shares Jaden and Cayla with her second husband, Taiwanese music producer Jon Yen, whom she divorced in 2011.

She’s also mother to 27-year-old Yasmine Ross from her first marriage to British businessman Glen Ross, which lasted from 1998 to 2002.
