Award-winning Hong Kong actress Nancy Wu recently delighted fans in Malaysia after news broke of her unexpected visit to the country.
The 44-year-old flew in to surprise her friends – fellow actors Joel Chan, Bob Lam and Oscar Leung – who were shooting a Chinese New Year movie here.
On Friday (Sept 12), a netizen on Chinese social media site Xiaohongshu shared a video of Wu alongside the aforementioned cast members.
The actress was also said to have treated the production crew to midnight snacks.
According to China Press, filming for the upcoming project kicked off last month and now appears to be moving into post-production.
Former TVB star Christine Ng, who’s also part of the cast, has wrapped up her scenes and returned to Hong Kong.
On Thursday (Sept 11), Lam, 45, revealed on social media that it was his final day on set, writing: “I feel reluctant to leave, but I also miss my family and friends in Hong Kong.”
Chan, 48, also marked the occasion with an Instagram Story captioned: “And that’s a wrap.”
Wu’s surprise appearance has since sparked speculation that she could be making a cameo in the film.
