Hong Kong actor Niklas Lam has left netizens speechless after revealing that he juggles three part-time jobs in a single day.

The 31-year-old shot to fame in 2023 with his role in the hit drama The Queen Of News.

Despite his rising popularity, Lam has been open about the realities of working in Hong Kong as an artiste, admitting that the pay is far less glamorous than it seems.

In a recent vlog on Xiaohongshu (Red Note), the TVB star shared a glimpse into his gruelling schedule, where he clocked three jobs in just 15 hours.

“How hard do Hong Kong artistes hustle just to survive? Three part-time jobs a day without stopping,” he said.

Lam’s day began at 7.30am, running on just a little over three hours of sleep.

After a simple breakfast of two boiled eggs, he headed off for emcee duties at a social work programme, which kept him occupied from 9.30am to 3.30pm.

The hustle didn’t end there. Once his shift ended, Lam drove to a fitness class, where he worked as a part-time instructor.

Two hours later, he was back home for a quick shower and dinner before diving into yet another job as a part-time English translator.

Lam explained that his work involves translating Chinese academic papers into English and providing suggestions or corrections for those less fluent in the language.

He worked until about 11pm, wrapping up his long day with total earnings of HK$493 (RM267).

Many netizens expressed admiration for Lam’s determination and resilience, praising his ability to juggle three jobs in a single day.

“You can do so much in a day, and still edit videos. It’s amazing,” one netizen commented.
