Hong Kong actor Tony Leung Ka-fai entered a new chapter of life in September 2024 when his elder daughter Chloe welcomed a baby girl, officially making him a grandfather.
The happiness doubled in April this year when his younger daughter Nikkie gave birth to a baby boy, giving the 67-year-old celebrity his second grandchild.
On Thursday (Aug 27), Nikkie, 32, shared several photos of her son on Instagram.
Among them was a heartwarming shot of Leung gazing fondly at his grandson, while another captured him and his wife – former radio producer Annette Kong – beaming at the baby, who returned their smiles.
This appears to be the first time Leung has been publicly photographed with his grandson.
According to reports, Nikkie tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend on Jan 12 last year, while Chloe married her partner of nine years in June 2023.
Despite their father's illustrious career, both sisters have opted for a life away from the spotlight.
Leung – known for his performances in the films Election (2005) and Cold War (2012) – had previously expressed excitement at becoming a grandfather.
At the time, he voiced his hopes to enjoy time with his grandchildren while still in good health.
