Taiwanese actor Steve Ma has found love again!
According to Taiwan media reports, the 63-year-old is dating a woman named Jane, who’s 26 years his junior.
On Tuesday (Aug 19), Jane took to Weibo to share a video of the couple heading to Hong Kong singer-actor Nicholas Tse’s concert together.
“Going on a date and meeting the person who used to live in our earphones back then,” the 37-year-old wrote in the caption.
In a recent livestream, Jane, who works in financial investment, revealed that she first met Ma at a friend’s party.
“No one actively pursued the other. We just got together naturally,” she said, adding that she has long been a fan of the actor and his works.
When netizens teased her about their age gap, Jane remained calm and graciously responded: “Steve and my dad are the same age. It’s normal. I don’t care at all.”
She shared that her parents are very open-minded and had no objections to their May-December romance.
As for marriage, Jane said they’re in no rush to walk down the aisle and will simply let nature take its course.
Ma and Jane sparked romance rumours in 2023 after the latter shared on Weibo a photo of herself hugging the actor while holding a bouquet of roses.
In her post, she accused Ma’s two ex-wives, actresses Tang Yun and Wu Jiani, of not appreciating him.
Ma was married to Tang Yun from 1990 to 1993, and they have a daughter.
He has two sons from his previous marriage to Wu, which lasted from 2007 to 2017.
