Malaysia-based idol group KLP48 will mark its first anniversary with a special concert set for Aug 16, 5.30pm at Zepp Kuala Lumpur.

The concert, titled Bloom, promises high-energy performances from the 13-member group. The show will also feature pre-show appearances by three guest acts: local girl group Coex, R&B singer Ismail Izzani and JKT48, the Indonesian sister group of AKB48.

Formed in 2024 as part of Japan’s AKB48 global expansion, KLP48 brings a multicultural twist to the “idols you can meet” concept, with members from Malaysia, Japan, Indonesia, and Hong Kong.

In just a year, KLP48 has built a growing fanbase across Malaysia and Japan, performing on international stages and gaining momentum as South-East Asia’s rising idol group.

Tickets to Bloom are priced at RM100, RM200 and RM350 and available from excitix.com.my.
