Taiwanese actress Joe Chen recently marked her third wedding anniversary with Malaysian artist Alan Chen.

The couple registered their marriage in Taipei City on March 31, 2022, and later exchanged vows in a wedding ceremony in Langkawi, Kedah, on Sept 22 last year.

On April 1, Joe took to Instagram to share two video clips and seven pictures of herself with Alan, who’s nine years her junior.

The photodump also included a snapshot of the lovebirds from their wedding day.

“Happy anniversary! It feels like it was just yesterday. Have I already entered the forgetful stage of old married life already? Thank you for being my best friend,” she captioned her post.

The actress then joked that whether she’s right or wrong, Alan, who hails from Johor, always apologises first.

"Sigh, you’ve got it tough. I’m so lucky,” she said playfully.

Many fans have since flooded the comments with well wishes for the couple’s lasting love while others couldn’t help but gush over their playful teasing.

“Alan knows that a happy wife brings a happy life,” one netizen joked.

Another added: “Having someone who you can play around with is the best!”

Joe and Alan met in 2019 on the dating programme Meeting Mr Right II. In the show’s finale, Alan asked Joe to be his girlfriend on the Langkawi Sky Bridge.
