After sightings of a person suspected to be Chris Hemsworth in the streets of Seoul over the past few days, the Hollywood actor confirmed he was in the city for a shoot.

Hemsworth, known for his role as Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, revealed his recent trip to Seoul through an Instagram post, writing, “A little behind the scenes from our recent Limitless 2 shoot! South Korea exceeded expectations.”

The post includes a series of photos, including some featuring Hemsworth wearing South Korean military attire and sparring with South Korean men dressed in the same gear. In another photo shared, he squares off against Kim Dong-hyun, a renowned former mixed martial artist here, with boxing gloves on.

The scenes appear to be from his shoot for a new season of Limitless With Chris Hemsworth, a Disney+ series.

Produced by National Geographic in 2022, the first season featured Hemsworth taking on various physical and mental challenges to combat aging, from plunging into Arctic waters to meditation.

In the Instagram post, Hemsworth added: “This season has been another incredible global journey unlocking wisdom around health, wellness, and longevity. Excited for people to see the lastest installment of the series.”

Photos of him walking around the streets of Sinchon, Seoul, circulated on social media recently, sparking speculation that the star might be in town. Local media reported that it appears to be Hemsworth's first known shoot in South Korea. – The Korea Herald/Asia News Network
