Selena Gomez and her fiance Benny Blanco have announced a new album together that will focus on their own love story.

US actress and singer Gomez, 32, who received Golden Globe and Bafta nominations for the Netflix film "Emilia Perez," has previously collaborated with American producer Blanco, 36, on other music.

On Instagram, Gomez wrote: "I always trick you guys, my new album I Said I Love You First with my best friend @itsbennyblanco, is out on (March 21).

"Our first song, Scared Of Loving You is out now on all streaming platforms. Merchandise and signed products for the album are available for pre-order now. We can’t wait to share this special project with you soon!”

The actress, also known for Disney show Wizards Of Waverly Place and Disney+ series Only Murders In The Building, followed up the post with a clip of her music video to the new song Scared Of Loving You, which sees the pair holding hands, embracing and laughing together.

Gomez and Blanco have previously released the 2015 hit Same Old Love and the 2019 track I Can’t Get Enough featuring Tainy and J Balvin.

They confirmed their relationship in December 2023, and were seated together at the Golden Globes in January.

Texas-born Gomez rose to fame as a child actress on the Disney Channel - which included a stint on children’s show Barney & Friends - before pursuing a music career and later launching brand Rare Beauty in 2020.

She is also known for 2012’s Spring Breakers and the Hotel Transylvania franchise, and has received one Emmy actress nod for her part in crime show Only Murders In The Building along with three nominations for best comedy series as a producer.

Gomez also has three Golden Globe nods for the series, and one nomination for Emilia Perez, where she plays the wife of a crime boss.
