Hong Kong actor Kevin Cheng has been happily married to TVB star Grace Chan since 2018, and he knows he’s one lucky man.

With Valentine’s Day approaching, the 55-year-old opened up about his relationship with his wife of seven years.

In a recent interview with Hong Kong media, Cheng recalled the moment he knew Chan, 33, was “the one” for him.

The defining moment happened on Valentine’s Day when Chan was in Paris for work.

At the time, Cheng flew over and took Chan to a famous jewellery store, telling her to pick anything she liked despite concerns about maxing out his credit card.

“She initially declined to buy anything and, to my surprise, only settled on a small heart-shaped ring. That was the moment I knew I wanted to marry her,” he shared.

As a gesture of appreciation, and to make it up to her, Cheng later gifted her a dazzling 4.8-carat diamond ring on their wedding day.

During the interview, Chan dismissed the idea that their shopping date was a test, explaining that she simply chose a ring she liked.

Cheng and Chan tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Bali on Aug 12, 2018, after three years of dating. The pair have three children together.
