Hong Kong actress Tavia Yeung is hoping for her husband Him Law to claim the Best Actor laurel at the upcoming TVB Anniversary Awards in January.

While nominees are yet to be announced, many believe Yeung and Law are strong contenders for their roles in Darkside Of The Moon and Happy Ever After?, respectively.

In a recent interview with Hong Kong media, Yeung expressed excitement about her own Best Actress chances but said she'd be happier if her husband won Best Actor.

"I'd be even happier if he came out victorious. His performance was incredible, and the show had high ratings. I'm rooting for him," the 45-year-old added.

The couple, married since 2016, hope to make history as TVB's first "Best Actor and Actress Power Couple", and it seems they're fully committed to this goal.

They recently moved from their villa in Tai Po to a 43-year-old detached house in Sai Kung, paying a monthly rent of HK$60,000 (RM34,207).

Hong Kong media reported that the pair was drawn to the property because of its excellent feng shui, with its layout said to be "conducive" to winning the Best Actor award.

In an interview with Hong Kong's Oriental Daily, Law clarified their move was mainly to accommodate their two children's schooling needs and to be closer to Yeung's family.

"We moved to live closer to Griselda (Yeung's sister), so my mother-in-law doesn't have to travel to see her two daughters," the 40-year-old said.

However, Law didn't completely dismiss the idea of feng shui when discussing his new home.

When asked about the layout, which apparently enhances his chance of winning Best Actor, he said: "Yes, we do consider Feng Shui, but whether I win depends on the audience.

"I'm so happy to have my wife's support. The most important thing is that everyone enjoys my performance and remembers the series."
