Indonesian actress Barbie Kumalasari shocked viewers when she recently went on the variety show Pagi-Pagi Ambyar with a swollen, bandaged face.

The hosts of the show were equally taken aback.

"Barbie, where are your eyes?" one of the hosts asked, trying to lighten the mood as Barbie made her entrance.

The 42-year-old's appearance was because she had just undergone plastic surgery.

The actress explained that this was her ninth plastic surgery, as she aspires to achieve a look similar to that of reality star and entrepreneur Kylie Jenner.

Barbie said that this time, she had surgery to "fix" her nose shape, which she felt was uneven.

She added that this was her fourth nose procedure due to complications from collagen filler injections she had back in 2011.

"My nose had to be shaved down because of the previous collagen filler. It 'grew' back, making my nose appear bigger, with a rounded centre," she explained.

In addition to her nose, Barbie also had surgery on her eyelids to create a larger, sexier shape.

"The skin on my eyelids was cut and stitched back so my eyes would look bigger, wider, and sexier like Kylie Jenner," she said.

Barbie has been open about her journey with cosmetic surgery, sharing photos and videos on Instagram to document her experience.

In the comment section of these posts, many expressed concern, stating that Barbie appears worse off after the surgery.

The 42-year-old says she wants to resemble Kylie Jenner.
