Malaysian actress Diana Danielle recently shared that she had spent a full year trying to reconcile and improve her marriage with actor Farid Kamil, only for it to be futile.

In a recent Instagram Story, Diana urged Farid, 43, to let her go and said it would be cruel for him to prolong the divorce process.

The 32-year-old actress filed for divorce from Farid for the second time at the Syariah Lower Court in Kuala Lumpur today (Nov 4).

They were legally divorced on Aug 10, 2023, but reconciled days later on Aug 31.

“We have faced moments on the brink of breaking down countless times.

“Let’s not pretend there’s no baggage from the previous months.

“I continued to trust and put in effort, but now, if he insists on keeping me bound until I’m suffocated, all the way through until the hakam process, his actions are deeply cruel,” she said.

The Imaginur star made it clear that she won’t be persuaded by Farid anymore, adding that she no longer wants to continue the marriage.

“My intentions are very clear, and there’s nothing else I want except to no longer be under his responsibility. Let me go,” she wrote.

According to mStar, The Star’s Malay-language news portal, Diana also uploaded a video of herself burning some love letters written by Farid for their 12th anniversary.

The pair, who share two children, tied the knot on Nov 3, 2012.

“Letters of deception don’t have a place in my heart,” she captioned the clip.
