Hong Kong celebrity couple Him Law and Tavia Yeung have been in a loving relationship for over a decade now, but even the most enduring relationships encounter challenges along the way.

In a recent episode of actress Carina Lau's talk show, the couple was asked about the worst argument they had to which Law, 39, responded: "It was so bad, we could've split."

According the TVB star, he used to believe that every conflict should be resolved within the same day, a viewpoint contrasting with that of his wife Yeung.

"She wouldn't talk about it at that moment and would only bring it up the next day. I couldn't do that. I was the type who needed resolution and answers on the day itself," he said.

While Law made it clear that his behaviour has since changed, Yeung, 44, said she now finds it intolerable when conflicts aren't resolved quickly.

During the interview, the couple also reflected on the early years of their romance.

Law said he found Yeung to be "wife potential" after working with her on the popular medical drama The Hippocratic Crush in 2011.

As for who calls the shots at home, Law immediately pointed to his wife.

"Our daughter would say mum's the Queen and dad's the King, but I told her this family doesn't have a King," he said, before jokingly adding that he's more of a "housekeeper" instead.

Law and Yeung tied the knot in October 2016. The couple has a three-year-old daughter Hera and a two-year-old son Eden.
