Bella Astillah's family members have been mostly quiet on the controversy surrounding her and her husband Aliff Aziz's relationship with co-star Ruhainies.

Until now.

Her younger sister Didi Astillah has finally spoken out to defend her sister's reputation.

Didi, or Dayang Nazilah Awang Astillah, has come forward to question actress Ruhainies' apology and reconciliation offer.

According to Didi, her apology should’ve come much earlier.

"Why now? Why not during the khalwat (close proximity) case? This is after, you slandered her left and right...

"Suddenly, now, you put on a sad face, pretending to want reconciliation after the spread of conversations of 'L U' (love you), 'L U S M' (love you so much)," Didi, 27, said.

Didi shared this on her Instagram on Sunday (April 28) after Ruhainies, 31, apologised to Bella, 30, on the TV programme Melodi.

Didi said she had chosen to remain silent all this while, but her patience ran out when Ruhainies took the easy way out of the situation with a quick apology.

"Even when Ruhainies' siblings went as far as defending her with false statements surrounding the khalwat capture, I kept quiet.

"But when I saw this manipulator suddenly do an interview, supposedly to apologise and wishes to reconcile, my finger immediately felt light to type," she wrote.

According to Didi, Ruhainies' behaviour towards her sister is unforgivable.

This includes calling Bella names, plotting to bring her sister down, and making untrue accusations against Bella.

Didi listed out the deeds: "Stating Bella was the one who set up the khalwat (trap); tarnishing Kak Long (Bella has proof) on set; saying Bella's team sent emails to brands not to take Ruhainies.

"Forcing Aliff to embarrass Bella to the extent of creating fake accounts and using cybertroopers to criticise Bella (so evil, almost like a soap opera)."

On the programme Melodi, Ruhainies said she didn't come out earlier to say anything regarding the controversy involving her because she did not want to prolong the issue or fight with others.

She said she is apologising now as she wants to move on from all this.

On March 9, Ruhainies' name was hotly discussed after she and Aliff were caught in khalwat by the Federal Territories Islamic Religious Department (Jawi) at a condominium in Kuala Lumpur.

Following the incident, Bella decided to file for divorce from Aliff, but at the hearing the Singaporean actor refused to divorce her.

The issue among the three stars became more complicated when Sarah Yasmine, who claims to be Aliff’s girlfriend, exposed screenshots of messages believed to be between Aliff and a woman named NRF. Sarah indicated NRF to be Ruhainies.

Sarah’s revelation also involved several other celebrities such as Emma Maembong, Chacha Maembong, Caprice, Sophia Albarakbah, and Meerqeen.

Few days after Sarah's revelation, Ruhainies took to Instagram to say she hoped to meet Sarah and Bella in person to sort out the issue.

Sarah responded by saying she's unwilling to meet Ruhainies because she does not want to be fooled by Ruhainies again.
