Taylor Swift appeared to chastise CBS and its camera crew during the AFC Championship Game on Sunday when she saw she was being shown in the crowd during a promotion for the upcoming Grammy Awards.

CBS will telecast the show on Feb 4. Swift is nominated for six awards.

During the promo, Swift was shown looking up at a TV screen in her suite and staring — glaring? — for several seconds before mouthing what could have been, “Go away please.”

Regardless of what people think she said, she clearly did not look happy in the moment.

Viewers quickly took to social media to applaud her. The singer, who is dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, has been under fire from the moment she visited GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in September to watch her first game.

Since then, some football fans and sports commentators have griped about how much she is shown during game broadcasts, something she has said, rightly so, that she doesn’t control.

So when she appeared to clap back at CBS, fans rushed to her side.

“Taylor Swift telling CBS to stop showing her, ‘go away please.’ Love her!” one fan tweeted on X.

“Taylor Swift legit was looking at the TV in the suite and said ... ‘go away please’ It’s unfair she gets all this hate when it’s not her wanting the attention,” wrote another.

“Taylor Swift when she sees herself on TV: “Go away please.” She really was on our side all along,” added a sports betting site. – The Kansas City Star/Tribune News Service
