Actress-entrepreneur Puteri Sarah Liyana said she feels like a beggar as her efforts to recover RM26,000 from a marketing officer have been unsuccessful.

The 38-year-old expressed frustration over the individual's refusal to cooperate in an Instastory on Wednesday (Jan 10).

At the same time, she asserted that she would not allow her rights to be taken away so easily.

"We work day and night, doing live sessions (to promote the products). Yet why do some people casually take away what belongs to us?"

Puteri Sarah's products include facial care and headscarves.

On Jan 3, she revealed that she was deceived by an individual claiming to be a marketing officer, who attempted to charge 45% of her business profits.

It's reported that the actress had hired the individual to carry out the marketing of her products, but the work done did not meet the set standards.

She further stated that the person took RM26,000 as payment without her knowledge.

Since this revelation, some netizens have shamed the actress for degrading herself in her attempts to get back the money.

According to Puteri Sarah, she doesn't mind the criticism as long as she recovers the amount she lost.

"If you want to criticise me behind my back, I don't mind. What I know is that I want the money you took." she said.
