It is back to work immediately for TVB star Kenneth Ma after trying the knot with Roxanne Tong.
The celebrity couple officially sealed their union with an intimate wedding ceremony in Koh Samui, Thailand on Dec 16.
At a recent press event to promote TVB's series The Queen Of News, Ma, 49, said plans for a honeymoon to see the Northern Lights have to put on hold for now as work comes first.
He also said that he and Tong, 36, are not in a rush to start a family but would gladly “accept the gift from heaven” if they were blessed with children. He added that since so much time is needed in parenting, he would likely have “one or two children at most”.
The Hong Kong media also queried the affable actor on his ex-girlfriend Jacqueline Wong's recent comments on her cheating scandal. Wong was said to have an affair with Andy Hui while dating Ma a few years ago.
In a recent interview, Wong – who married musician Lai Man Wang last year – talked in length about hitting rock bottom and her thoughts on the scandal. She also congratulated Ma on his marriage to Tong.
Ma said that it is his hope that everyone would move on from the matter.
“She’s married and so am I, there’s no need to bring this up yet again, it’s been so (many years),” he said.
“I wish her well too, hope she is blessed with happiness, everyone has gotten a new start and there’s no need to bring up old matters," Ma added.
