Hong Kong celebrity couple Kenneth Ma and Roxanne Tong have officially sealed their union with an intimate wedding ceremony in Koh Samui, Thailand on Dec 16.
The TVB stars, who had kept details of their nuptials private, marked the momentous occasion with a series of photos on social media.
They uploaded five pictures on Instagram, including one of them exchanging rings and another of them sealing their vows with a kiss.
The venue, decorated with white flowers and petals, radiated a magical ambience.
Ma, 49, looked handsome in his white suit while Tong, 36, stunned in her low-cut wedding gown.
“Forever ours,” the newlyweds wrote, accompanied by an emoji of their favourite animals – a horse and a unicorn.
On Dec 17, Ma thanked his wife for arranging the “perfect wedding”. According to reports, Tong had mostly been in charge of wedding preparations as Ma had been busy with work.
“Every detail was beautiful. The event was well-organised and everyone had a great time,” he wrote.
The actor also uploaded a photo with his parents and in-laws in a separate post the same day.
He wrote: “Thank you to both parents and family members, as well as the photography team. I couldn’t invite everyone (to the wedding), and I’m really sorry for that. I hope there will be a chance to invite everyone for a meal in the future.”
Meanwhile, Tong thanked her husband for giving her an unforgettable wedding.
“Every moment of the day was touching and full of happiness. I’m so lucky to have met you. You made me a better person. I hope we'll love each other until we’re old,” she wrote on Dec 16.
The actress extended her gratitude to sisters and friends, including TVB stars Samantha Ko and Sisley Choi, for their willingness to travel for her wedding outside Hong Kong. She also expressed love to her parents.
According to reports, only 80 close family members and friends were invited to the reception. Other celebrities spotted at the private affair include Stephen Wong, Natalie Tong, Jennifer Shum and Tracy Chu.
Ma and Tong announced their engagement on Jan 1. The couple have been dating for over three years.
