Hong Kong actors Charmaine Sheh, Raymond Lam and Gallen Lo recently received a warm welcome during their visit to a restaurant in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur.

The three stars arrived in Malaysia in July to film their new drama, Modern Dynasty 2. Filming wrapped up on Monday (Sept 18).

In a viral video shared by a TVB fan page on Facebook, fans could be seen standing eagerly by the restaurant's door as they showered the celebrity trio with loud cheers.

Many also whipped out their phones to take photos and videos.

According to China Press, the actors displayed great courtesy as they greeted fans and thanked them for their support. The report added that Lo, 60, even shook hands with several lucky fans at the scene.

At press time, the video on Facebook has garnered over 14,000 likes and 825,000 views and counting.

Many netizens warmly welcomed the actors in the comments. Some also said that they hoped to bump into the Hong Kong stars during their time in Malaysia.

Sheh, 48, and Lam, 43, seem to be making the most of their time in the country. Last month, the two of them were spotted frying kuey teow at a roadside stall in Kuala Lumpur.

Lam also took his family to a petting zoo in Seri Kembangan, Selangor on Aug 7. They were spotted at a bak kut teh restaurant in Kuala Lumpur later that day.
