Last week, Hong Kong actor Him Law received a surprise visit from his wife, actress Tavia Yeung, and their two children on the set of his new drama, Modern Dynasty 2, in Malaysia.

This time, it is Law's co-star Raymond Lam's turn to receive the same surprise.

Lam, 43, arrived in Malaysia last month to shoot Modern Dynasty 2.

Filming is expected to last two months, with most of the scenes taking place around Kuala Lumpur.

In a recent Instagram Story, Lam’s wife, Chinese model Carina Zhang, shared that she had brought their daughter Luna to visit the actor.

“Father and daughter reunite,” she wrote alongside a photo of their two-year-old girl sitting comfortably on Lam’s lap.

The Moonlight Resonance star is evidently making the most of his filming break with his loved ones, bringing them to fun places around Malaysia.

On Aug 7, the family of three was spotted at a petting zoo in Seri Kembangan, Selangor.

In a series of photos shared by the petting zoo on Facebook, Lam and his family seemed to be having a fun time.

In one photo, the actor can be seen helping Zhang, 33, as the latter got ready to pose with a snake.

Another showed the family observing a zookeeper feeding the meerkats.

“Both adults and children happily interacted and fed the animals. (They) had a great time,” the post read.

China Press reported that Lam and his family were spotted at a bak kut teh restaurant in Kuala Lumpur later that day.

Malaysian supermodel Amber Chia – who recently recovered from a fall – bumped into the actor by chance and snapped a selfie with him at the restaurant.

“I met my idol today. He still looks so young,” she wrote on her Instagram account.

Lam and Zhang tied the knot in December 2019. They welcomed their daughter in September 2020.
