Streaming platforms need to produce local content, says Fahmi

The Ministry of Communications and Digital will hold discussions with streaming platform companies to look into legislation that gives more opportunities to producers and the local film industry.

According to its minister Fahmi Fadzil, this is to ensure that online streaming platforms produce domestic content to meet a certain percentage.
