5 ways you can celebrate Star Wars Day today. May the Fourth be with you!

In conjunction with Star Wars Day today, here are five things you can do to celebrate May The Fourth!

May The Fourth Be With You! Every year, Star Wars fans all over the world celebrate Star Wars Day on this date, and if you are one of them, there is no shortage of things you can do to show your love for the franchise.

One of the best things about being a Star Wars fan today is the sheer number of content and merchandise that is available out there. From the original movies to the new TV shows, we have seen the universe expand from revolving around the Skywalkers to stories about, well, just about anything, really. And these shows have also in turn, spawned numerous types of merchandise based on its characters and stories.

So, in conjunction with Star Wars Day today, here are five things you can do to celebrate May The Fourth!

1) Re-watch Return Of The Jedi in conjunction with its 40th anniversary

Yes, the third movie in the Original Trilogy turns 40 this year, and it still holds up pretty well, even compared to the newer Star Wars content out there that are made with much more advanced technologies.

And considering the fact that a lot of the current Star Wars shows like The Mandalorian, The Book Of Boba Fett, and the upcoming Ahsoka are set after ROTJ, this is the perfect time to refresh your memory of the Original Trilogy's finale.

2) Build some Return Of The Jedi Lego sets

Speaking of Return Of the Jedi, Lego has also release several ROTJ-themed Star Wars playsets in conjunction with the anniversary, including a most impressive 807-piece Emperor's Throne Room Diorama, a replica of the iconic final fight between Luke and Darth Vader in front of Emperor Palpatine.

There's also an Endor Speeder Chase Diorama, a smaller replica of the Executor Super Star Destroyer for fans of the smaller sets.

If you love the X-Wing fighters in the movies though, you might want to check out the Ultimate Collector's Series X-Wing Starfighter, a 1,949-piece replica of the iconic starfighter that would look perfect on any coffee table.

So, if you're want something to do together with your kids (today is a holiday after all), or you're looking for a cool-looking collectible to display at home, Lego is the way to go!

3) Explore unique global stories with Star Wars Visions

The Star Wars Visions series is the perfect example of what you get when you get a bunch of creative-minded people to come up with their own 'visions' of Star Wars.

The first season of the Disney+ Hotstar series saw Lucasfilm collaborating with several Japanese anime studios on this concept, and the result was a wildly imaginative slate of stories that Lucasfilm themselves probably would never have come up with themselves.

For its second season, released today on Disney+ Hotstar, Star Wars Visions has gone global, with stories told by renowned anime studios from around the globe, including highly-acclaimed ones like Britain's claymation maestros Aardman, and the Oscar-nominated Cartoon Saloon from Ireland, producers of The Secret Of Kells and Wolfwalkers.

Besides these two, there are also contributions by animation studios from Spain, Chile, South Korea, France, India, Japan, United States, and South Africa, each bringing their unique styles and perspectives to the Star Wars universe.

4) Hone your lightsaber skills with Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

The latest Star Wars Jedi video game was just released last week, and it has already been touted as one of the best Star Wars games ever released. (Read our review here: 'Star Wars Jedi: Survivor' is 'Star Wars' storytelling at its best)

Survivor sees the further adventures of Cal Kestis, who is now a full-fledged Jedi Knight, having survived Order 66 and also embarked on a journey to rebuild the Jedi Order in 2019's Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

This time around, the game is more open-world, with more places for Cal to explore, and a return of the cinematic combat system from Jedi: Fallen Order, with additional Force abilities and new lightsaber fighting styles.

And hey, the actor playing Cal, Cameron Monaghan, even got Jedi training from the one and only Mark Hamill!

5) Introduce your Younglings to Star Wars with Young Jedi Adventures

If you're looking to share the Star Wars love with your kids, then this is a good series to start.

Set before the events of the Skywalker Saga movies, Young Jedi Adventures follows a group of young Padawans as they embark on a series of exciting missions and learn what it takes to become Jedi Knights.

Skewing much more towards children than many of the other Star Wars animated series, this heartwarming Disney+ Hotstar series, with its cute characters, universal themes of friendship, loyalty and overcoming adversity; and simple adventures, is the perfect introduction to Star Wars for younger children.

And yes, there are cute creatures and lightsabers too!
