Actress Puteri Sarah Liyana, who is married to famed director-actor Syamsul Yusof, gave a warning to the woman whom she alleges has been plaguing her married life for the past four years.

Sarah, 36, claimed on Instagram Stories that actress Ira Kazar has been trying to come between her and her husband since 2019, and this left her with no choice but to expose “the homewrecker”.

As reported on Saturday (April 16) by mStar – The Star’s Malay-language portal – Sarah said that the individual she named had created a fake account to hurl hurtful comments at her causing her mental distress and that it eventually led to a temporary separation period in her marriage.

“When we got back together, you started threatening my husband,” Sarah said.

“I have held my tongue all these while for the sake of my family’s reputation. But you have crossed a line, mentioning my children. You are an outsider ... who only knows what’s going on the surface. Stop your interfering.”

Sarah further asked Ira to quit harassing her and asking her husband for money.

In a different post, Sarah also questioned Ira’s action in continuously disturbing her husband.

“Why are you going after someone’s husband. Don’t you have any respect for another woman’s husband? Because you want his money? Grow up and earn your own money. Even I work to earn my own money.

“These four years, I have stayed silent. The more I don’t speak up, the more you take advantage of me.”

This is not the first time Sarah has spoken about a person harassing her and her family members. However, she has never mentioned the person’s name before.

Ira is the daughter of actor Kazaruddin Saisi, who is better known as Kazar.

mStar had reached out to Ira for comment but the latter refused to say anything other than: “I feel pressured right now ... no comment.”

Meanwhile, Harian Metro contacted Ira's father on the matter. Kazar is reported saying: “I have nothing to say. It’s a very difficult matter to talk about. Only they know what is happening.”

Sarah and Syamsul got married on March 8, 2014 and have two children.

On Monday (April 18), Sarah told mStar that she's glad to have spoken out on the matter.

"I feel relieved to release this burden I have been carrying for the past four years.

"I can perform umrah with a calm heart now and just focus on my prayers," said Sarah, who's leaving for Mecca to perform umrah and will be celebrating this year's Hari Raya at the holy city of Islam.
