Malaysian singer Afieq Shazwan is feeling the after-effect of Covid-19 although he has fully recovered from the virus.

Afieq, who tested positive for coronavirus in February, said that he finds it hard to hit the high notes these days.

"After I recovered from Covid-19, I discovered I can't belt songs with high notes," he told The Star's Malay-language portal mStar.

"I also get tired after singing just one song. These issues are bugging me as they will affect my livelihood as a singer," Afieq said, adding that his doctor told him that these issues might last for three to six months.

The singer also told mStar that he is still traumatised by the flooding incident that happened in December last year as he and his family were affected.

"I get traumatised and worried when it starts to rain. I will call my mother to ensure the family is safe," said Afief who turns 25 today (April 5).
