Billie Eilish stopped a concert to give an attendee an inhaler after seeing a single person in some sort of distress in the sea of faces below her, then made a pointed comment about taking care of concertgoers.

That threw some shade at Travis Scott, whose Astroworld Festival concert tragically ended in 10 deaths and numerous injuries last year.

Eilish’s show-stopping moment happened during a concert in the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, part of her Happier Than Ever world tour, when she noticed someone having a difficult time in the audience just below her.

Fan video picked up just as she stopped singing to scrutinise the audience, then asked, “You need an inhaler?” before turning to her crew.

“Do we have an inhaler? Can we just grab one?” she asked, then added, “It’s OK, we got one. Give her some time. Don’t crowd.”

After the fan was revived, Eilish made sure she was OK before continuing.

“You need to come out, or are you OK? Are you sure?” Eilish asked, then mouthed, “I love you.”

Fans loved her back, posting the moment on social media.

Later in the show, Eilish made what many construed to be a veiled reference to Scott’s disastrous Astroworld performance.

“I wait for people to be OK until I keep going,” she said, to rousing cheers from the audience.

After Scott’s debacle, he was dropped from Coachella, and TMZ reported that Eilish has been chosen to replace him and other artistes who have dropped out, though an official announcement has not yet been made.

Scott’s Astroworld music festival in Houston erupted into chaos on Nov 5 when a crowd surge crushed dozens, killing 10 people and injuring scores of others who could not breath amid the melee. Numerous lawsuits are pending, though Scott said he did not learn it was happening until after the show. – New York Daily News/Tribune News Service
