There's no escaping the word puzzle Wordle as its popularity grows rapidly. In January 2022, some 10 million people were reported playing the popular puzzle.
Earlier this week, BTS fandom, Army, started its own version of Wordle.
BTS Twitter fan account btschartdata is responsible for creating a BTS version of the word game.
It follows the same rule as Wordle where players are given six tries to guess a five-letter word. But, of course, in this version, all words are connected to BTS. And instead of turning green when you get a correct alphabet, it turns purple, which is BTS' signature colour.
However, this is not the first of its kind in terms of celebrity Wordle.
In January, The Holy Swift podcast created a Taylor Swift version of Wordle called Taylordle. According to podcast hosts Krista Doyle, Jessica Zaleski and Kelly Boyles, the words featured in the puzzle are all "part of the Swiftie universe". You know, SHAKE (It Off), (Bad) BLOOD and (the infamous) SCARF, that kinda thing.
Wordle, created by John Wardle and released in October 2021, has become a worldwide phenomenon. On Jan 31, The New York Times said it has purchased the game from Wardle for a "low seven figures".
