Taiwanese-American singer Wang Leehom, who is embroiled in a messy divorce from wife Lee Jinglei, returned to Taiwan from China recently.

As is the current requirement in Taiwan, the artiste had to be quarantined at a designated hotel for a week, before another round of self-quarantine at home.

During his first week in Taiwan, the 45-year-old reportedly chose to stay at S Hotel, that’s owned by Barbie Hsu’s ex-husband Wang Xiaofei.

A Singapore news portal mentioned that photographers started to camp outside the S Hotel near the end of Wang’s quarantine date, hoping to get a photo of the disgraced star.

Wang apparently decided to extend a day, and when he did leave the premise he had 10 bodyguards with him.

Plus, he had hired two taxis – both with dark curtains covering the windows heading in opposite directions – to throw the media off.

His tactic however didn’t totally work – one outlet still managed to get a picture of him in the taxi.

His agency stated that Wang is currently at his “temporary residence”.

Wang's shocking scandal began on Dec 15 when the singer announced his divorce on social media.

This was followed by several shocking revelations by Lee, resulting in Wang apologising and announcing that he would temporarily quit the entertainment industry.
