Malaysian actress Siti Saleha was at Klang District Syariah Subordinate Court on Thursday (Dec 2) with her parents and lawyer on the matter concerning her divorce application from husband Ahmad Lutfi Azhar.

Her lawyer Azmi Mohd Rais told mStar The Star’s Malay-language portal – that one of the reasons the actress is seeking a divorce is because there’s no longer an understanding in the marriage.

The 31-year-old star attended the court proceeding on Thursday to hear the conciliatory committee’s report regarding her case.

However, the hearing was postponed to Jan 17, 2022 as Ahmad did not turn up at the court. Ahmad is said to be abroad at the moment.

According to the article, the conciliatory committee’s report is for the judge to determine whether the divorce by shiqaq need to be released, and follow up with an appointment of the hakam (arbitrator).

On Oct 13, 2021, The Star stated that Siti Saleha had filed for a divorce after four years of marriage. For the record, the couple got married on July 28, 2017.
