Cases of actors within the entertainment industry involved with drugs have been an issue for some time now. Malaysian actor Pekin Ibrahim believes the public should stop bringing down these individuals for their past mistakes.

"I think that the issue of drugs in the creative industry does not need to be raised because it is not a new thing anymore," he shared with mStar, The Star's Malay-language portal. He also highlighted that there are also many other drug addicts who are struggling, but these actors seem to be getting more attention just because of who they are.
