Troye Sivan might be popularly known as a singer these days but he actually started his showbiz career in musical theatre at age 12. His foray into singing began when the South Africa-born Australian, like most young artistes his age, started posting videos and vlogs on YouTube in 2012.

After getting noticed for his talent, he secured a record deal and released an EP, TRXYE in 2014 which reached No.5 on Billboard 200 and No.1 on iTunes in 55 countries. Not bad for the then 19-year-old Sivan.
